Shooting music videos can be tons of fun even when we squeeze in about a dozen shots in under 24 hrs! This video for the TV Tramps we shot at her awesome place in Asbury Park. She has a crazy wardrobe so if you are looking for something cool to wear for you next video be sure to hit her up and get her punkify you.

Asbury Park Brewery helped produce this music video and very grateful that they could support the making of this project. Also on set was Shane Greene to help me move crap around during the evening shots and make sure my lenses were clean.

]]> NOISY BASEMENTS & BARS will take a look backwards to the punk heyday of 1980’s, the birth of hardcore and the indie rock of the 90’s when music was dangerous and all the way up to the present day New Brunswick local music scene.

I know this is an ambitious but I’ve given myself a year to capture what we can.

Slowly I’m inviting folks to sit down and chat on camera and test my hypothesis, of what is and still is a very fertile music breeding ground that has almost but disappeared in New Brunswick, NJ yet somehow is still producing arguably some of the most popular underground music ever.

The prices vary depending on how many songs and cameras footage sources need editing together for your basic pop 2-5 minute tune. Included in the packages is: color grading in various appropriate styles to achieve that certain look, audio sync, mix-down and a full stereo reference wav file of the performance. We record your set on a super awesome Rode NT4 stereo mic into a Pro-Tascam 4 channel audio recording in high-fidelity audio. If your group or band wants to master the audio file and then shoot that back over for the sync we can do that no problem. We offer audio mastering and quote that out separately.

Mr. Payday’s album Welcome to the Modern World is out now and it’s damn awesome. We had the sincere pleasure of shooting a set of theirs live at Pino’s Lounge in Highland Park, NJ.

]]> Man time flies like a mother fucker. Here’s a segment from the 13 episode short documentary series I produced and developed when I was producing content for Ogivly & Mather’s Global Youtube Channel between 2009-2012. Our goal was to show inspiration by talking with folks who do interesting things like Jack Rabid. It was an amazing opportunity and great way for me to take my fanzine sensibilities to a whole other level of storytelling. The series even was honored as a Webby Finalist and then went on to win a CINE Golden Eagle for online film series.

To date Create or Else is the most viewed content on Ogilvy’s main channel since I left the agency. Anyway, here’s the segment with Jack who was then celebrating 30 years as a independent publisher and now is has published his 77th issue of THE BIG TAKEOVER of a 200+ page music filled magazine! He’s been a good pal over the years and I was very grateful that he let me bring a 10 person crew to his brownstone in Brooklyn and risk messing with his credibility. He is an american treasure and he trusted me to include him in the segment about music. Working on the series overall was proving ground for this next film I am working on. Which I admit is even more ambitious than COE series and with way less money behind me as of this writing.

I’m fond of all the other episodes so definitely watch them here. They are short and to the point.
